Jennifer Sands is a Shepherdess living in Columbus, Ohio. Her family, alongside herself, operate a small grass-fed cattle operation with smaller, adjacent projects undertaken by different members of the Sands’ tribe.  Jennifer utilizes her sheep for their yearly wool crop in her art practice as well as for other utilitarian needs. Jenkins has a BFA in Fashion Design and Fine arts which has sparked her interest in slow fashion and garment production. Jennifer recently graduated from The Maryland Institute College of Art with an MFA in studio art.  She spends her spare time educating others in her community about the tradition of spinning, weaving, knitting and raising sheep.
